What's The Voice Again?

The voice is an American reality television music competition that originated from the National Broadcasting Company (NBC).

Ever since its airing on April 26, 2011, The Voice has slowly expanded its way across the television screens of the world. For the point of this article we will concentrate on the Arabic part of the world!

Now, Why Should I Care?

We'll give you three reasons why you should care. 

Starting with Aboud Agob:

Who is he?

Aboud Agob is a Syrian singer, from the city of Aleppo. He loved singing since childhood and participated in many of the Ristals. He was a member and leader of some choirs in different churches in the city of Aleppo. He won the title of the voice of aleppo by the highest vote of the public and the jury certificate and all who heard his voice. Abboud was born in Aleppo 1991, graduate of the University of Aleppo from the Faculty of Technical Engineering in 2014. He plays guitar and graduated from the Comedas Institute of Music in 2010.

What was his outcome?

In his showdown, he was not chosen. He was then saved by Hamaki, but was then replaced but another artist. An unfortunate result, but a tremendous victory for himself and the people around him. Powerful in voice and character, he will move forward with his talents to bigger and better things!

Second with Ahmad Al Hafez:

Who is he?

Ahmad Al Hafez (person on the left)  is a Syrian singer who worked his way from social media to the big screen. His gentle soft voice allows you to enjoy music in ways that you could have never experienced before.
A great person with a shy and wonderful personality.

What was his outcome?

He put his heart and soul on the stage with a wonderful performance that truly will be remembered. He came against a very strong opponent that would have been difficult to face by most contenders. Ahmad's journey was nothing short from memorable.

Third with Bashaar Al Jawad:

At the age of 20 Bashaar Al Jawad has made his way in the show through his talent and stage presence that will be referenced for years to come. A Lebanese singer with little support from his family (at first) has now grown to become one of Lebanon's potential future stars.

What was his outcome?

A great performance is what he left on the stage as he was not selected to move forward to the final stages of the show.

This nonetheless will not stop him from moving forward and perusing a career that is fit for his stardom.

Why Were They Mentioned?

Glad you asked! All of them are or were members of the Yaleil Ya3ein community. We are proud to see such beautiful voices transferring from our humble platforms to the big screen. Their performances on The Voice were just as fantastic as the many posts they share on their social media accounts.

For the future, we hope to see even more of our community members reach stages that will elevate their musical careers. Our mission, after all, is to help everyone get there as well!
